Gardens are almost never square, but this gardens footprint is particularly unusual. The formation of a new extension almost divides the garden in half. Rather than hiding this separation, we emphasised it by creating two different environments. One courtyard near the kitchen that acts as an intimate social space, and a larger, more wild area that can be explored.
